Bladed hematite crystals grown in overlapping rosettes, with a bright metallic silver-grey lustre that shifts toward gunmetal and near-black depending on the angle of light. Pieces run roughly ¾ to 1½ inches. Several sit on or alongside quartz, including one with the blades set among small clear crystals and another showing red-brown iron oxide beneath the metallic faces.
