Inside, the cavity is lined with granular druzy pyrite — a dense carpet of tiny brassy crystals that catch light across the whole interior surface.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe color inside runs from olive and brass to deep charcoal, and a number of the pairs carry natural iridescence: peacock blues, greens, violets, and coppery pinks playing across the pyrite. This is natural surface oxidation on the pyrite, not a coating or treatment.
