The color runs from nearly clear through pale mint to a soft yellow-green, often deepest at the center of a crystal. Peach stilbite wraps around and between them in sprays and rounded clusters, and on one piece it opens into a classic sheaf-shaped fan. Parts of the stilbite carry a fine, sparkling drusy coating, and a few pieces show patches of the gray basalt host rock.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003ePieces run from 4 1\/2 to 6 inches. The lot includes one full cluster that works as a centerpiece, and three pieces built around one or two large apophyllite crystals.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eApophyllite splits easily along its flat cleavage planes, and both minerals are soft.
